Entrance Exam Description
During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
Program Structure
Semester 1 — Foundations & Core Skills
- Research Methods & Methodology for Information Systems — you learn how to carry out research and development projects, which helps you later build or analyze intelligent systems properly.
- Intelligent Systems & Machine Learning — you study algorithms and approaches behind AI, machine learning and intelligent behavior in software / systems.
- Big Data & Data Analytics — learn how to work with large data sets, process data, extract meaningful patterns — a core skill for data‑driven intelligent systems.
Semester 2 — Applied Intelligent Technologies & ICT Systems
- Smart / Intelligent Systems for Aviation / Industry (or general) — you practice building intelligent systems that may be used in aviation, industry, IoT or other domains.
- Information Systems Engineering / System & Software Design — you learn how to design complex information systems, combining software, data, automation — the backbone of intelligent applications.
- Security & Information Protection (especially for critical / aviation systems) — because many intelligent systems manage important data, you learn about cybersecurity and safe system design.
Semester 3 — Specialization, Innovation & Master’s Thesis / Project
- Advanced / Specialized Elective Subjects — depending on your interests, courses might cover advanced AI, IoT / smart‑device integration, big data processing, system optimization or domain‑specific intelligent systems.
- Master’s Thesis / Final Project — you complete a real project or research work: for example, designing an intelligent information system, building a machine‑learning model, creating a smart application or an enterprise-level information solution.
Overview
The program trains you to build, design and manage advanced information systems — especially “smart” and “intelligent” systems that use modern IT, data processing, machine learning and automation. You learn how to combine computer science, data science, AI/machine‑learning, system design, and modern information-technology tools to solve real problems, especially when systems or large data are involved. The program aims to prepare you for modern IT/AI work: from designing intelligent applications, data analysis, software/ systems engineering — to smart automation, IoT, and information‑system management.
Career Opportunities
After graduation you could work as an AI/machine‑learning engineer, data scientist, big‑data specialist, or developer of intelligent systems and smart solutions. You may also become a software or systems engineer focusing on automated, intelligent, data‑driven solutions — industries may include IT, telecommunications, aviation, IoT and more. Other possible roles: database or information‑system engineer, IoT / smart‑systems developer, data analyst, or researcher in information technologies and intelligent systems. Because the program combines theory, research methods, and modern technologies, you also could pursue academic or R&D careers, or join innovative tech projects or startups working with AI, big data, or intelligent automation.
