Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Semester 1 – Foundations of Customs & International Trade
- International Trade Principles – Introduction to import/export operations, contracts, and trade documentation.
- Customs Law and Regulations – Study national and international customs legislation, procedures, and compliance.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Fundamentals – Basics of transporting, storing, and managing goods.
- Business Administration for Trade – Organizational structures, management principles, and decision-making.
- Research Methods & Academic Writing – Develop skills for thesis work and applied research.
- Elective 1 – Choose a course like International Finance, Risk Management, or E-commerce.
This semester builds the foundation. You’ll understand how global trade works, customs law, and basic logistics, preparing you for hands-on applications.

Semester 2 – Advanced Customs & Operational Skills
- Customs Clearance and Documentation – Learn practical skills for importing/exporting goods, declaration procedures, and compliance.
- International Logistics & Freight Management – Organize shipments, optimize routes, and manage warehouse operations.
- Risk Management in Trade Operations – Analyze and mitigate risks in customs and trade processes.
- Business Analytics & Decision-Making – Use data to make operational and strategic decisions.
- Elective 2 – Options may include Customs Brokerage, International Marketing, or Digital Trade Tools.
You’ll move from theory to practical application, managing customs procedures and learning how to solve real-world trade problems.

Semester 3 – Capstone & Master Thesis
- International Trade Simulation / Project – Apply your knowledge in a realistic customs and trade scenario.
- Compliance & Regulatory Strategies – Develop strategies to ensure business operations meet customs and international regulations.
- Innovation in Customs & Trade Processes – Explore modern tools, digital solutions, and process improvements.
- Master Thesis / Applied Research Project – Conduct an in-depth study on a customs or trade topic, demonstrating your expertise.
This semester integrates everything you’ve learned. Your thesis or project becomes your personal showcase of skills and knowledge.

It is a specialized master’s program designed to prepare professionals for managing customs and international trade operations within business structures.
