Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Semester 1 – Foundations of Project Management
- Introduction to Project Management – principles, methodologies, and life cycle of projects.
- Project Planning and Scheduling – techniques for time management and task organization.
- Risk Management – identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks.
- Research Methods & Academic Writing – skills for project research and thesis preparation.
- Elective 1 – options such as Agile Methodologies, Leadership in Projects, or Quality Management.
This semester builds a strong foundation in project management theory, planning, and research skills.

Semester 2 – Applied Project Management Skills
- Resource and Budget Management – allocating resources and controlling project budgets.
- Team Leadership and Communication – leading teams, resolving conflicts, and effective communication.
- Project Monitoring and Evaluation – tracking progress, performance metrics, and quality assurance.
- Project Case Studies / Simulations – practical application of theory in real-world scenarios.
- Elective 2 – options such as IT Project Management, Construction Project Management, or International Projects.
Students apply theory to practical projects, gaining hands-on experience in leading and managing projects.

Semester 3 – Capstone and Master Thesis
- Strategic Project Management – advanced concepts in portfolio and program management.
- Emerging Trends in Project Management – innovations, digital tools, and global practices.
- Leadership, Ethics, and Professional Development – developing managerial skills and ethical project leadership.
- Master Thesis / Applied Research Project – research or practical project demonstrating mastery in project management.
This semester integrates learning, allowing students to lead real or simulated projects and complete their thesis.

Overview

The program trains students to plan, execute, and lead projects efficiently across various industries. Students learn project planning, risk management, budgeting, resource allocation, team leadership, and project monitoring and evaluation. The program develops organizational, analytical, and leadership skills, preparing students to successfully manage projects from conception to completion.

Career Opportunities

Graduates can work as project managers, program coordinators, project analysts, risk managers, operations managers, or consultants. They find opportunities in IT, construction, engineering, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, governmental organizations, and international companies, both in Ukraine and abroad.
