Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Year 1 – Foundations
Introduction to International Relations, Political Science Basics, History of International Relations, Philosophy and Ethics, Foreign / Ukrainian Language, Information Technologies in International Relations, Academic Writing & Communication Skills.
Students explore the basics of international relations, political science, history, philosophy, languages, and IT, building analytical and communication skills.

Year 2 – Core International Relations
Comparative Politics, International Law, International Organizations and Global Governance, Diplomacy and Negotiation Basics, International Economics, Statistical Methods for Social Sciences, Practical Exercises / Applied Projects.
The curriculum covers comparative politics, international law, global governance, diplomacy, international economics, and applied projects.

Year 3 – Advanced Analysis
Foreign Policy Analysis, International Security Studies, Regional and Country Studies, Political Communication and Media, Strategic Diplomacy, Research Methods in International Relations, Internship / Applied Training.
Learners focus on foreign policy analysis, international security, regional studies, political communication, strategic diplomacy, and internships or practical training.

Year 4 – Specialization & Research
Advanced International Relations Analysis, Global Governance and Policy-Making, International Conflict Resolution. Electives (examples: European Affairs, Digital Diplomacy, Human Rights), Pre-Diploma Practice / Internship, Bachelor’s Thesis / Research Project.
Students deepen expertise in advanced international relations, global governance, conflict resolution, and complete pre-diploma practice and a Bachelor’s thesis project.

Overview

The Bachelor’s program in International Relations trains students to analyze global politics, diplomacy, and international institutions. It equips them with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in foreign policy, international organizations, and geopolitical analysis.
