| Entry qualification | The certificate of Completed Secondary Education is required. Compulsory entrance exam. The entry qualification documents are accepted in English (except for documents issued in Ukraine upon completion of studies at local educational institutions) . In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original & legalized (according to the international agreements) entry qualification documents along with you when you finally enter the university. |

Entrance Exam Description
The tests are expected to ensure entrant’s base level in language and certain disciplines is up to national standards.
Exams are taken online. I order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on Academy’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Year 1 — Biomedical & academic foundations
- Human Anatomy; Histology, Cytology & Embryology; Medical Biology; Medical/Biological Physics; Bioorganic & Biological Chemistry; Physiology; Medical Chemistry.
- Latin (medical terminology); History & Culture of Ukraine; Philosophy; English & Ukrainian for professional use.
Year 2 — Pre-clinical & introductions to dentistry
- Microbiology/Virology/Immunology; Pathomorphology; Pathophysiology; Pharmacology; Clinical Anatomy & Operative Surgery; Hygiene & Ecology; Medical Informatics.
- Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine; Propaedeutics of Therapeutic Dentistry; Propaedeutics of Orthopedic Dentistry; Propaedeutics of Pediatric Dentistry; Prevention of Dental Diseases; Radiology; History of Medicine.
Year 3 — Clinical medicine + first full dental blocks
- Internal Medicine; Surgery; Infectious Diseases; Social Medicine & Public Health (with evidence-based basics); Forensic Medicine & Medical Law.
- Therapeutic Dentistry (Year 3 module) begins and continues in later years.
(Typically introduced across Years 3–4: Dermatology/Venereology, Neurology, Psychiatry/Child Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology).
Year 4 — Core dental specialities in depth
- Therapeutic Dentistry (Year 4); Surgical Dentistry; Orthopedic Dentistry; Orthodontics; Pediatric Therapeutic Dentistry (Year 4).
- Pediatrics; Obstetrics & Gynecology; Endocrinology; Internal Medicine incl. Endocrinology with Clinical Psychology; Medical Psychology; Emergency & Urgent Care; Physical Rehabilitation/Sports Medicine; Otorhinolaryngology.
Year 5 — Consolidation, advanced topics & clinical readiness
- Therapeutic Dentistry (Year 5); Orthopedic Dentistry incl. Implantology; Pediatric Therapeutic Dentistry (Year 5); Pediatric Surgical Dentistry; Neurostomatology; Oncology; Neurosurgery.
- Electives (examples: Clinical Biochemistry; Ethics in Medicine; Modern tech for fixed orthodontic appliances; Second foreign language).
Practice, facilities & exam prep
- Practice programs: patient-care nursing, industrial medical practice (therapeutic, prevention, pediatric therapeutic dentistry).

- Bases of practice include city hospitals and dental providers (e.g., Kyiv Clinical Hospital №15; “Capital Dentistry”; others under contract).
- Training laboratories/clinics: phantom class with anatomical dental phantoms; clinical rooms for surgery, therapy, orthopedics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry; X-ray room.
