Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Typical subjects: Fundamentals of Architectural Design; Drawing and Composition; History of Architecture and Art; Mathematics for Architects; Physics for Architectural Engineering; Computer Graphics and CAD Basics; Materials and Technologies in Architecture; English for Professional Communication; Environmental and Safety Studies.
You start by exploring the basics of architecture and design. This year gives you the artistic, technical, and computer skills you’ll need to create functional and visually appealing spaces.

Year 2 – Architectural Systems & Spatial Design
Focus shifts to understanding buildings, structures, and environmental planning.
Typical subjects: Building Structures and Materials, Spatial Planning and Layout Design, Architectural Modeling and 3D Visualization, Construction Technologies, Lighting and Interior Design Fundamentals, Environmental Design Principles, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Technical Drawing and Drafting.
You learn how to design buildings and spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Hands-on projects help you practice modeling, planning, and visualizing architectural solutions.

Year 3 – Advanced Design & Urban Environment
Students explore urban planning, sustainable architecture, and advanced design techniques.
Typical subjects: Urban and Landscape Design; Sustainable and Green Architecture; Architectural Detailing and Finishing; Advanced 3D Modeling and Rendering; Interior and Exterior Environment Design; Project Management for Architecture; Architectural Regulations and Standards; Professional Communication in Architecture.
You start working on larger and more complex design projects. You learn to create sustainable, functional, and innovative architectural environments, integrating buildings into urban and natural landscapes.

Year 4 – Professional Practice & Capstone Projects
The final year focuses on professional experience and preparing a portfolio of design work.
Typical subjects: Architectural Project Development, Design Innovation and Creative Solutions, Construction Project Management, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Internship / Practical Training in Design Studio or Company, Bachelor Thesis / Final Design Project.
You apply your skills in real-world projects during internships and capstone work. By graduation, you can design modern, functional, and sustainable environments ready for professional practice in architecture and design studios worldwide.

Overview
