Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Year 1 – Foundations of Engineering & Computing
Fundamentals of Programming, Mathematics for Engineers (Calculus, Linear Algebra), Physics & Electrical Circuits, Introduction to Control Systems, Information Technologies & Tools, Foreign / Ukrainian Language.
Your first year builds the base in programming, math, physics, and basic control principles — everything you need to understand automated systems.

Year 2 – Core Control Systems & Electronics
Signals and Systems, Digital & Analog Electronics, Control Theory Basics, Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers, Computer-Aided Design & Simulation, Applied Mathematics & Statistics.
The second year focuses on electronics and control theory, giving you hands-on experience with circuits, embedded devices, and system modeling.

Year 3 – Advanced Automation & Computer Integration
Industrial Automation & Robotics, Computer-Aided Control Systems, Data Acquisition & Processing, Networked Control Systems / IoT Integration. Electives (e.g., Mechatronics, Advanced Signal Processing).
This year you apply theory to real systems: designing automated processes, integrating computers with control systems, and exploring robotics.

Year 4 – Practical Experience & Capstone Project
Intelligent Control Systems, Automation in Industry & Aerospace, Pre-diploma Internship / Practical Training, Bachelor’s Thesis / Capstone Project. Advanced Electives (e.g., Cybersecurity in Control Systems, Advanced Embedded Systems).
In your final year, you bring everything together: building intelligent systems, completing an internship, and finalizing a capstone project — ready to start your career as an automation professional.

Overview

The program trains students to design, develop, and optimize modern automated control systems using computers, embedded devices, and advanced control theory. You’ll learn how to build systems that manage industrial processes, robotics, and aerospace technologies.

Career Opportunities

Graduates are ready to work as automation engineers, control system designers, robotics specialists, or industrial system integrators, equipped with practical skills and theoretical knowledge for high-tech industries.
