The entry qualification documents are accepted in English (except for documents issued in Ukraine upon completion of studies at local educational institutions) . In most cases you can request a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original & legalized (according to the international agreements) entry qualification documents along with you when you finally enter the university. |

Entrance Exam Description
During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.
Program Structure
Year 1 – Foundations of Economics & Data Skills
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economists, Statistics, Introduction to Economic Analytics, Information Technologies in Economics, Academic Writing & Communication Skills, Ukrainian / Foreign Language.
Students build a solid foundation in economics, statistics, mathematics, and IT skills, while developing communication and analytical competencies.
Year 2 – Core Economic Analytics
Econometrics, Financial Analysis and Accounting, Programming for Data Analysis (Python / R), Database Management and SQL, Business Economics, Marketing Basics, Applied Project Work I, Practical Training I.
The curriculum covers econometrics, programming for data analysis, database management, financial analysis, and applied project work.
Year 3 – Advanced Data Analytics
Machine Learning in Economics, Predictive Modeling and Forecasting, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization & Reporting, Optimization Methods for Decision-Making, Risk Analysis in Economics, Project Management for Economic Analytics, Applied Project Work II, Internship / Practice.
Learners study machine learning, predictive modeling, big data analytics, optimization, data visualization, risk analysis, and participate in internships or applied projects.
Year 4 – Specialization, Research & Graduation
Advanced Economic Analytics & Simulation, Quantitative Methods in Business and Policy, Data-Driven Decision Making, Strategic Economic Analysis, Elective Courses (e.g., Digital Economy, FinTech, Sustainable Analytics), Pre-Diploma Practice, Bachelor’s Thesis / Research Project.
Students deepen expertise in advanced economic analytics, quantitative methods, and data-driven decision-making, completing pre-diploma practice and a Bachelor’s thesis project.
Overview
The Bachelor’s program in Economic Analytics using Data Science Tools combines economic theory with modern data-science techniques to analyze economic systems.
