Entrance Exam Description

During the selection process we examine the competency of the applicant in two ways:
The faculty decides about the eligibility of the applicant by examining the documents of previous studies (degree, subject, results). This is followed by an entrance exams that evaluate the level of study-language and basic subjects depends on speciality.
The exams can be conducted online. In order to validate the entrant’s person, exams taken remotely are recorded on video, as is the person verification process. The recording is archived for at least five years on University’s grounds and the link to that recording is available in the united base of Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

Program Structure

Year 1 – Foundations of Economics
Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economists, Statistics, Introduction to International Economic Relations, History of Economic Thought, Ukrainian / Foreign Language, Information Technologies in Economics, Academic Writing & Communication Skills.
Students build core knowledge in micro- and macroeconomics, statistics, mathematics, international economic relations, and develop IT and communication skills.

Year 2 – Core International Economics
International Trade, World Economy, International Finance, Accounting & Financial Analysis, Business Economics, Marketing Basics, Econometrics / Mathematical Modeling, Practical Training I.
The curriculum covers international trade, finance, accounting, business economics, marketing, and practical exercises.

Year 3 – Advanced & Applied Economics
International Economic Law, Global Economic Policy, Cross-Border Capital & Labor Movements, International Marketing and Management, Regional and Country Studies, Risk Management & Financial Analysis, International Economic Organizations, Project Management in Economics, Practical Training II.
Learners study international economic law, global policy, cross-border capital and labor flows, project management, and applied economic analysis.

Year 4 – Specialization, Research & Graduation
Strategic International Economics, Investment and Trade Policy, International Competitiveness Analysis, Economic Forecasting & Decision Making, Elective courses (e.g., Sustainable Development, Digital Economy, Aviation Economics), Pre-Diploma Practice, Bachelor’s Thesis / Research Project.
Students deepen expertise in strategic international economics, investment and trade policy, economic forecasting, and complete pre-diploma practice and a Bachelor’s thesis.

Overview

The program prepares students to understand and analyze global economic systems, international trade, capital flows, labor migration, and financial markets. It equips graduates with knowledge of economic theory, international economics, and the institutional mechanisms of the world economy. Students develop research, analytical, and project-management skills to design and manage international economic cooperation and business.

Career Opportunities

Graduates can work in multinational companies, trade organizations, government institutions, or continue studies at the master’s level.
